The Alexandria Sportsman’s Club hosted its first celebratory event of the fall athletics season on Wednesday, Sept. 17, at the Old Dominion Boat Club. More than 70 people were in attendance where we presented Athlete of the Month honors to eight high school athletes representing our four Alexandria high schools. Additionally, ASC president Ryan Fannon emceed our annual Varsity High School Football Coaches Roundtable, featuring all four coaches from our four City of Alexandria high schools: Rodney Hughey, Alexandria City High School; Bernard Joseph, Bishop Ireton High School; Kadeem Rodgers, Episcopal High School; and Vashon Winton, St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes School.
